Freelance Graphic Designer & Prod Assist

High-quality show dog magazine (~100 pages per issue) seeks a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable designer.

Production Schedule (6-8 weeks per issue):

• Q1: Jan. 15 – Mid-March

• Q2: May 1 – Mid-June (Training starts May 1 via FaceTime)

• Q3: Aug. 1 – Mid-Sept.

• Q4: Oct. 1 – Mid-Dec.

Responsibilities:

• Design and layout magazine content

• Manage ad/editorial submissions & client communication

• Adjust photos for print quality, proofreading & minimal text input

• Maintain production deadlines

• Mac computer, Adobe InDesign & Photoshop

• Fast internet & access to high-quality graphics

• Familiarity with Google Sheets, Excel, Microsoft Office & Dropbox

• Minimum 2 years of experience

 Salary negotiable for the right candidate wanting to work from home.
